I gave this website an arcade mode

I gave my personal website an arcade mode! One toggle, and the whole thing turns into an 8-bit world seamlessly in real time.

And I mean the whole thing. The fonts switch to real arcade typefaces, every link, tag, button and input gets re-skinned, the reading progress bar becomes a segmented display-style progress indicator, there's a little CRT power-off flicker when you exit, and my photo up top is redrawn as a pixel-art sprite that bobs like a fighter waiting at a character-select screen.

The entire palette runs through one small set of design tokens, so the three colour themes (neon, green and amber) in arcade mode are a single switch that recolours everything at once. Background, glow, text, frames, even the hero's halo, all change together.

And it's still just one website. Same pages, same content, no second build, no backend, nothing extra to maintain.

Flip the switch at whyvanamali.com and tell me which version you'd keep :)
