For the first time, Claude filed my ITR end-to-end, from the tax computation and document reconciliation to the actual form filling on the income tax portal, navigating the website by itself.

Meanwhile, here’s the TL;DR - I started by dumping all tax-related documents into one folder, including Form 16s, bank statements, and more.
Claude Code reconciled all of it against my AIS and 26AS. Then it produced a computation in the standard format for me to approve. I logged into the income tax portal, and Claude took the browser from there. It picked the form, filled every schedule, checked the portal's prefilled numbers against its own computation, and took the filing to completion. All in all, the whole process took just about an hour.
PS: The figures in the computation sheet are just placeholders for public sharing. I wanted to show the format.
